My name is Alyssia
and I am the owner of
“We’re often taught to push harder. But rarely are we taught to pay attention—how we move, how we breathe, how our alignment shapes our wellbeing.”
I'm not a physician—and that’s exactly the point.
What I offer through Core Atelier Tunbridge Wells is a return to self-awareness through movement. Through Mat Pilates and Fascia release, I help people reconnect with their bodies—building strength, resilience, and deeper nervous system harmony.
Whether you’re a reformer, a yogi, or navigating chronic pain—this work is here to support your path.
Please see my schedule for a class near you or contact me for one-on-one training.

Mat PILATES

Mat Pilates is the purest, most beautiful expression of your strength and control. While the reformer is undeniably popular—and a brilliant piece of equipment—it's important to remember that Joseph Pilates designed both the matwork and the apparatus as integral parts of his method. The equipment wasn't meant to overshadow the mat, but to complement it: offering support, resistance, and deeper feedback to refine and reinforce the principles of Contrology. At it's core, mat work is where the real mastery begins. it is a mindful, low-impact exercise method designed to strengthen the body, improve flexibility, and enhance balance and coordination. Performed on a mat using bodyweight resistance, this practice emphasizes core engagementand precise movement, promoting optimal alignment and functional strength. Suitable for all fitness levels, Mat Pilates helps build a strong, resilient body from the inside out.
Key Benefits:
-
Promotes better posture and healthy body alignment
-
Alleviates back pain and reduces stiffness
-
Builds muscular strength and boosts stamina
-
Improves flexibility and range of motion
-
Enhances balance, coordination, and control
-
Helps relieve stress and calm the mind
Mat Pilates offers a well-rounded approach to fitness, blending physical conditioning with mindful movement for lasting wellness.
Self MYO-FASCIAL RELEASE

Self Myo-fascial Release is a type of soft tissue therapy that focuses on releasing tension and restrictions in the fascial system, which consists of muscles, fascia (connective tissue), and tendons. It is the best self directed deep tissue massage you never had. The roll model method I use is a method of prepare/repair prehab/rehab for multiple systems of your body. This is done using empowered self massage with soft soft-tissue self care tools. This is a technique with precise structure and sequence — you're not just rubbing a spot, you're following a map. Over time, you build a vocabulary of tension in your body, learning how to read it and respond with intention. It’s not just about rolling on a ball; it’s not random pressure. It’s about precision. Without the right context and sequencing, it’s easy to do it incorrectly and miss the whole point.
Benefits include:
-
Improves joint range of motion
-
Increase proprioception and body coordination
-
Decreases pain
-
reduce stress
-
hasten recovery
-
Ideal for individuals who are touch averse
Hypopressives

Hypopressives are a low-pressure fitness technique that use breathwork and postural alignment to engage and strengthen the deep core and pelvic floor muscles. This method works by creating a vacuum-like effect in the abdominal cavity, encouraging a natural lift of the pelvic organs.
I will begin formal training in this technique in September. This service will be available in 2026. In the meantime, if you are suffering from a prolapse please contact my incredible mentor Susannah White.
Benefits include:
-
Strengthens the pelvic floor without strain
-
Supports pelvic organ repositioning
-
May reduce the severity of pelvic organ prolapse (POP)
-
Improves core stability and postural alignment
-
Enhances the natural connection between breath and pelvic function
-
Non-invasive alternative to surgery
-
Many notice improvements within 4 weeks
Ideal for individuals who haven't seen results from traditional pelvic floor exercises or are seeking a holistic approach to core and pelvic health.
The best part? Many women begin to notice significant improvements within just four weeks.
Don't let pelvic floor issues define your life. Improvement is possible—and it can start now.
